The Advanced European Bioethics Course will take place from March 24 to March 27, 2026, in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. This event is organized by the Section of Healthcare Ethics, IQ Health, at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen.

Keynote Speaker

The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Brenda Mathijsen, Associate Professor of Geography and Psychology of Religion, Vice Dean, and Director of Education at the University of Groningen. Dr. Mathijsen’s research examines how individuals in contemporary Europe cope with dying, death, and grief. She is recognized for her contributions as the author of several books, scientific articles, and peer-reviewed publications.
